Age Limit

Salary and Allowances

The Research Scientist position offers a Pay Level of 10, with a remuneration of Rs. 56,100/- plus allowances as applicable. This translates to an approximate salary of Rs. 95,000/- per month. On the other hand, the Project Associate-I role has a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA, amounting to approximately Rs. 37,000/- per month.

Qualifications

As mentioned earlier, candidates for the Research Scientist position must possess an M.Sc. degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science with a minimum aggregate of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or a CGPA/CPI grading of at least 6.84 on a 10-point scale or equivalent. Similarly, candidates for the Project Associate-I role should hold an M.Sc. degree in Physics, Atmospheric Science, or Meteorology with the same academic qualifications.
