What is Agneepath Scheme?
Agneepath is the Central Government's new recruitment scheme for the Indian Army. The plan is to recruit young people for a short period in the Army, Air Force and Navy. Agneepath Scheme is a step that promises radical changes in recruitment for the Indian Armed Forces, the Agneepath scheme would add 46,000 soldiers to the Indian Army, Indian Navy and India Air Force. The Agnipath recruitment scheme is a transformative initiative that will provide a youthful profile to the armed forces. The entry through Agneepath Scheme would be done for 4 years initially.
What is the age limit to apply Agneepath Recruitment 2022?
People between the ages of 17 and 21 can join the army through this scheme. Candidates will be given appointments on a contract basis for four years. The age limit has now been raised to 23 years because of the protests by job seekers.

What is the salary of Agneepath scheme 2022?
Soldiers recruited under the Agneepath project will be known as Agnewir. Agniveer soldiers will be paid a salary of Rs 30,000 per month. By the end of the scheme, the salary will be Rs 40,000. 30% of the salary will be transferred to Sevanidhi program. Through this, a person will get Rs. 11.5 lakhs when he quits his job after four years.

How to Apply for Agniveers Agnipath Scheme 2022?
- To apply for the Agniveers Agnipath Scheme, you have to first visit the official portal of the Ministry of Defence i.e. www.mod.gov.in
- After visiting the official portal, you will be landed on the main page of the site and there you have to search for the Agnipath application link. Which will be available under the What’s a new section.
